Creditflux 2021 Best new European CLO: The Creditflux Manager Awards 2021 brought together CLO managers, credit fund and direct lending managers to recognize those with a track record of delivering high returns while minimizing risk and prioritizing collateral quality. This year, the judges considered over 1,100 CLO submissions from 87 entrants across 19 categories. CLOs were judged entirely on objective and measurable performance metrics, including par build, portfolio quality, and historical distributions to equity investors, as stated in trustee reports. DealCatalyst CLO Industry Awards 2022: Awards were created in consultation with members of the LSTA with the objective to produce awards to reflect the opinions of CLO Managers, Investors and various service providers in the CLO market. DealCatalyst received more than 90 nominations for Best Overall CLO and overall received over 500 votes from over 100 institutions. Nominated deals were reviewed by DealCatalyst and CLO conference committee who are members of the LSTA. DealCatalyst U.S. CLO Industry Awards 2025: Awards were created in consultation with members of the LSTA with the objective to produce awards to reflect the opinions of CLO managers, investors and various service providers in the CLO market. DealCatalyst received nearly 90 nominations for “Best Performing BSL CLO of the Year,” and over 300 market participants voted in this category. For “Best Performing BSL CLO of the Year”, the U.S. CLO had to have been a broadly syndicated deal and have made a payment in 2024 (2024 resets were not permitted); the shortlist for this category consisted of 12 deals. Nominated deals were verified through data from recognized third-party data providers. DealCatalyst required voters to identify themselves and their firms, and to provide contact information. Nominations were reviewed for signs of self-voting, coordinated voting, incentivized voting or slate voting. Only LSTA CLO members and confirmed U.S. CLO members were permitted to vote. With respect to the “Best Performing BSL CLO of the Year” category, DealCatalyst assessed performance through a list of 12 metrics, which were combined and weighted to get to a single number. This resulting number was combined with nomination points and then used to rank deals and arrive at the shortlist. Each CLO arranger organization was allowed 6 votes, CLO manager/issuer/investor organizations 3 votes and other member organizations 2 votes.
