CIFC becomes a formal signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). CIFC is now listed as a signatory on the PRI website, joining more than 2,000 organizations that have publicly demonstrated their commitment to responsible investment. CIFC has always believed that incorporating ESG factors into our investment process makes for better underwriting. Consequently, CIFC will to continue to integrate ESG considerations into its investment and risk management process as the firm believes that these can influence the long term performance of investments and the subsequent impact on returns.
